These terms govern your use of Jravel at https://jravel.app and the Jravel app. By using Jravel you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Jravel is

Jravel helps Jewish travelers find kosher food, synagogues, Chabad houses, Shabbat and holiday times, minyanim and other travelers. Information comes from public map data, businesses, the community and an AI assistant. It is provided to help you plan, not as a religious ruling or a guarantee.

Accuracy and kosher status

• Every listing shows a trust level and when it was last checked. "External data" and "needs confirmation" mean nobody from Jravel has verified it.
• Kosher certification, opening hours and Shabbat/holiday observance can change without notice. Always confirm locally before relying on a listing.
• Halachic times (candle lighting, Havdalah, prayer times) are calculated with standard methods and shown with the method used. Follow your own community's custom and your rabbi.
• Ask Jravel is an AI assistant. It can be wrong. Treat its answers as suggestions to verify.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your password private and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Community rules

When you post, message or submit information you agree to:

• Be truthful. Do not invent places, certifications, reviews, events or people.
• Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Respect privacy. Do not share other people's personal details or exact location without their consent.
• Only claim a business you are authorised to represent. A claim does not by itself certify a listing as kosher.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Jravel a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it within the service and in our public destination guides so that other travelers can benefit from it. Corrections and confirmations about places may be kept in anonymised form after you delete your account so the data stays accurate.

Businesses

Business owners may claim listings, add information and offers. All submissions are reviewed and may be rejected or edited. Paid business features, where offered, are governed by the pricing shown at the time of purchase.

Third-party services and links

Jravel links to websites, maps, phone numbers and services operated by others. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Availability

We aim to keep Jravel available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Jravel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jravel and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its information, including decisions about food, travel, safety or religious observance. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Me screen. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
